Why I love Cassiopeia

  • RED is the very color that flows through my veins
  • The people are loyal, dedicated, and overall great fans
  • We come with meaning. TVfXQ on your keyboard, Cassiopeia in name.
  • You see red everywhere (especially at night on the road from the car in front of you! 8D)
  • And not to be forgotten, because it exists to support the very 5 men I love.

Feel free to add on any points ~^^~

we aren’t called Gods of the East and Cassiopeia for nothing.

To Cassiopeia, may you always remember this.

Fandom

I think fandom is one of the most special life experiences ever, and everyone should go through it at least once. Maybe its an exaggeration, but thats what I think.

Some of my friends criticize me for being shallow (nonetheless, it does not mean that they will ‘hate’ me if I continue, I honestly think people who post about how their friends will hate them if they find out they anti their group should just dump useless friends like that) but I think thats one of the main points why I’m in the fandom.

When fandom is shallow, I can just forget about all the stressful work/school that constantly worries me in my real life, and just escape to a place where I indulge in great music and funny personalities, its my paradise away from home.

That by no means implies that I think fandom doesn’t have any real value whatsoever. I can honestly say after becoming a fan I’ve picked up some better values, I’ve complained less and tried my best to work harder. I guess sometimes it depends.

Yet there are still fans who start threatening each other because they anti their group or expressed disinterest or dislike to the group, which is an utter waste of time and energy. Sometimes people tend to pick up on these qualities as the stereotype of fans, and it gets a bit annoying, but we’re still here, we may have tore off a few hairs in frustration, but we’ve persevered.

I’ve always lost faith easily, I’m doubtful and full of skepticism, but maybe it was fate that led me to one of the idol groups I adore most of all now, Dong Bang Shin Ki. It may have started out as a small candlelight of fascination, but it’s a flame burning brought of admiration, hope, and faith. People say they’re sick of always hearing “Always Keep The Faith”, and that we’re being led by blind faith, maybe it’s half true, but I know that they’ve changed my life in many different ways, and I’ll never forget them, thats why I’ll always keep the faith, no matter what happens. They’ve left their legacy behind.

Lastly, objectively speaking, once you detach yourself from your idols, cut off emotional ties and bonds, you will find that the good and bads of fandom, whether it’d be unwavering support or tension between fandoms, will prove to be funny, foolish, annoying, inspirational, many things, but nonetheless interesting.

In the current world where we live in that’s been highly modernized and urbanized, entertainment plays a key role in our daily lives, and fandoms will always be inevitable.

Like they say, if you can’t beat them, join them.
