Seeing some posts on my dash about the whole Jaesuchun-Homin, and Cassies being unreasonable and god knows what I just feel like writing a bit :/
I think @la-beau brought up a very good question asking why did Jae only tattoo Yoosu’s name on his back. I’ve thought about it, and I’ve came to a few conclusions, or rather points.
- With regards to the current situation, tattooing HoMin’s names on his back would just further explode the situation, get over-reactions, and in my opinion give unnecessary extra hope
- But more importantly, it shows us that we don’t understand shit about this whole situation.
We can sit here and discuss and argue all day, but in the end we’re not those 5 people directly involved (and maybe SM included), we don’t know what happened leading up to this, whether they did, or how they discussed this and what went through all their minds.
Don’t give me bullshit and ‘facts’ that have emerged about about SM’s treatment of them. Sure that’s one reason but that’s not sufficient in judging the whole situation, so the way I do it is I just read, judge with my own intuition, and put that information at the corner of my brain, but I never come to a conclusion about the lawsuit be it the reasons that led up to it or how it’s going to end.
The only thing I allow myself to have is an OPINION. But truth is, the facts are all so muddled up, clouded, or not even known that I can’t form a good enough basis for a proper opinion, so I don’t have one. To me, there just is a lawsuit, and all I can do it hope that the outcome does everybody good.
And regarding how some Cassiopeia are being unreasonable, you think about it carefully. Cassiopeia supports Dong Bang Shin Ki. And at the present time, DBSK is Homin, so is it that we must now support Homin?
Or do we cling on to the old DBSK as 5 notion? In that case, if we’re sticking to that, wouldn’t that mean that we only support DBSK as 5. Means I could be a JYJ stan and hate Homin all I want, because I’m Cassiopeia, who supports DBSK as 5. AS five, and same applies vice versa.
And then there’s the one that seems to be the most common understanding of what Cassiopeia should be: Supporting all 5 no matter what they do.
In that case, where does that leave us? Words have thousands of meanings, millions when you take into account the personal experiences that shape the way we perceive them. This Cassie might only support them as 5, but that doesn’t make you any more right than she is.
So really, what I guess I’m trying to say is that there are so many unexplainable factors in this whole mess that it’s just best to stay calm, reasonable, and most importantly reasonable and understanding.
